Classes 3, 6, 9- Asset Languages Assessment

All our students in classes 3, 6 and 9, regardless of whether they are doing Cantonese or Mandarin, will undertake the appropriate level of the Asset Languages Assessment.

Students in Class 3 will be assessed at the Breakthrough stage, those in Class 6 at the Preliminary stage, and those in Class 9 at the Intermediate stage. The Asset Languages Qualification is highly regarded and you can see how it compares to other qualifications here.

All the exams follow a similar structure- There will be a Writing Test, a Speaking Test, as well as a written Reading Paper and Listening Paper. This will ensure that every aspect of the Chinese Language is assessed in order to give you a detailed evaluation of your child's abilities.
